The second project meeting was held in the Czech Republic. From the 17th till the 20th of April, 2013. This project meeting was named “Old Time Stories” and the participants had the opportunity to experiment – during 3 days the storytelling method was used in the activities that were located in two castles of Western Bohemia.

On 17 April 2013, the first day of this meeting, all the participants came to Prague. After welcome session during which the participants get to know each other, a short workshop example/illustration was organized: “Older are teaching younger telling stories and listening” – based on illustration on specific traditions from the host countries.

On 18 April 2013, in the morning the participants left the capital and went to the first castle from Western Bohemia – Zamec Valec; here a workshop with multiple tasks lasted all the day. Each team of participants had its own task but all the teams had to create their own stories about the visited places. Each team imagined and created their own stories about those historical places and at the end the real stories about those places was told by organizers. After workshop all participants had gone to the second castle were, in the evening, a working session of the project coordinators from each country took place.

On 19 April 2013 a multi stage outside activity was developed in order to discover the real story of historical castle Becov and of the shrine of St. Maurus. Inside the shrine there are skeletal remains of St. John the Baptist, St. Maurus and St. Timothy. The reliquary of Saint Moor is the second most famous goldsmith monument in the Czech Republic .The participants were split in 4 teams. Each team was prepared using questions, internet information and shared to the others teams the stories discovered by them in the areas investigated. The real stories of those places were told by those who have found the shrine in 1985 – one of them was a representative of the secret police, the other was an American treasure hunter. Both of them, in front of all of us told their stories. So, we learned more about the history and culture and our partner country. In the evening, during the closing ceremony other stories about those places were told. So the participants could understand better lived history of the Czech people.

On 20 April 2013 each team went to their countries.
